Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 13 September 2026
These terms explain how you may use this website and how enquiries for our mould removal and treatment services are handled. They do not replace any separate agreement, quotation or job-specific terms we provide to you once you instruct us to carry out work.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to your use of the website at jkmouldremoval.co.uk (“the website”), operated by JK Mould Removal (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Use of this website
This website is provided to give you information about JK Mould Removal and our mould removal and treatment services, and to allow you to contact us or request a quote. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and not in a way that could damage, disable or impair it, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.
3. Information on this website
We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, including service descriptions, the areas we cover and our contact details. However, website content is provided for general information only and does not form part of any contract between us. Specific details of the work to be carried out at your property, and any price, will be confirmed separately once we have assessed your enquiry.
4. Enquiries and quotes
Submitting the enquiry form, calling us, or emailing us does not create a contract between you and JK Mould Removal. A contract is only formed once we have discussed the work with you and both parties have agreed to proceed, whether that is confirmed verbally, by email, or in writing.
Any quote we provide is based on the information available to us at the time (including anything you tell us and, where applicable, what we can see during an assessment). The final scope and price may need to be adjusted if the actual condition of the property differs from what was initially described or visible.
5. Service availability
We aim to respond to enquiries and carry out agreed work within a reasonable time, but availability depends on factors such as demand, location and the scale of the work required. We do not guarantee a specific response time or appointment date on this website; these will be discussed and agreed with you directly.
6. Your responsibilities
When you enquire about or book our services, we ask that you:
- give us accurate information about the property and the mould problem, to the best of your knowledge;
- let us know about anything that could affect access to the property or the safety of our team;
- obtain any permission needed from a landlord, managing agent, freeholder or other relevant party before work begins, where you are not the sole owner or occupier; and
- provide safe and reasonable access to the affected areas at the agreed appointment time.
7. Our mould removal and treatment services
JK Mould Removal specialises in the removal and treatment of mould from affected surfaces. Our services are described in more detail on our Services pages. The exact treatment carried out will depend on the property, the type and extent of mould, and what is agreed with you.
Underlying moisture, damp and building defects. Mould is often caused or made worse by an underlying issue such as condensation, rising or penetrating damp, a leak, poor ventilation, or another building defect. JK Mould Removal treats and removes mould itself; we do not, as part of our mould removal service, automatically diagnose, repair or resolve the underlying leak, plumbing fault, structural damp or building defect that may be causing or contributing to the mould. Where we identify a likely underlying cause, we will tell you about it, but resolving it is your responsibility (or that of the relevant landlord, managing agent or contractor), and mould may return if the underlying cause is not addressed.
8. Access to your property
You are responsible for providing safe, timely access to the property and the affected areas at the times agreed with us. If access cannot be provided as arranged, this may result in the appointment needing to be rescheduled.
9. Pricing and payment
Where we provide you with a quote, the price and payment terms for that specific job will be agreed with you directly before work begins, and will form part of the agreement for that job rather than these website terms.
10. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can agree a new arrangement.
11. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to JK Mould Removal or our licensors, unless otherwise stated. You may view and print pages from the website for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not otherwise copy, reproduce or republish any part of the website without our permission.
12. Links to other websites
This website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any third-party website, and including a link does not mean we endorse it. Any use of a linked website is at your own risk and subject to that website’s own terms.
13. Liability
We provide the information on this website in good faith and take reasonable care to keep it accurate, but we do not promise that the website will always be available, error-free or entirely up to date. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information on this website.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under UK law. Liability relating to work we actually carry out at your property will be governed by the specific terms agreed for that job, not by these website terms alone.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example if our services or website change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the website after any changes means you accept the updated terms.
16. Contact us
If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us at info@jkmouldremoval.co.uk or +44 7545 225617.
